We had earlier reported about Rahman and Dhyan Sreenivasan headlining Omar Lulu's next. On Saturday, the makers announced the film's title as Bad Boyz. It is worth a mention that the director had announced a film with the same title in February 2023, adding that it will be a complete entertainer on the lines of his previous films Happy Wedding and Chunkzz. It remains to be seen if it is the same project that has now been revamped.

Bad Boyz, which has its story by Omar, also stars Saiju Kurup, Babu Antony, Bibin George, Anson Paul, Senthil Krishna, Bala, Aju Varghese, Tini Tom, Harisree Ashokan, Ramesh Pisharody, Dracula Sudheer, Sohan Seenulal, Motta Rajendran, Sajin Cherukayil, Sheelu Abraham, Aradhya Ann and Mallika Sukumaran. The makers have also hinted that the film will have "soms surprise appearances".

Bad Boyz has its screenplay and dialogues penned by Sarang Jayaprakash, who has earlier collaborated with Omar as the writer in Dhamaka and Oru Adaar Love. The upcoming film has music by William Francis and cinematography by Alby. Abraham Mathew is producing it under the banner of Abaam Movies.
