The trailer of the upcoming Prithviraj-Basil Joseph film Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil was launched in Dubai on Friday. The trailer promises loads of fun amid all the chaos associated with a wedding. Basil plays the groom, who works abroad, and the film seems to revolve around the incidents that occur after his landing in Kerala for the wedding. Anaswara Rajan plays the bride and Prithviraj essays the role of her brother. The makers had earlier hinted that he plays a grey-shaded role of a chauvinist. Nikhila Vimal will be seen as his wife. The elaborate cast also includes Tamil actor Yogi Babu, Jagadish, Rekha, Baiju Santhosh, Kottayam Ramesh, Irshad, PP Kunhikrishnan, and Siju Sunny among others.

Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil is directed by Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey-fame Vipin Das. It is scripted by Deepu Pradeep, whose writing credits include Kunjiramayanam and this year's Disney+ Hotstar series, Perilloor Premier League. Neeraj Revi is the film's cinematographer, while Johnkutty and Ankit Menon handle the editing and music, respectively.

Backed jointly by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment, the film is scheduled for release on May 16.
