Periyone’, the song from Blessy’s much-awaited Aadujeevitham was released by the makers on Wednesday in five languages. It is composed by Academy Award winner AR Rahman with lyrics by Rafeeq Ahammed and is sung by Jithin Raj. The video song showcases the composer amidst the desert landscapes where its filming took place, alongside glimpses from the film.

The film headlined by Prithviraj Sukumaran also stars Amala Paul, Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, K R Gokul, and renowned Arab actors Talib al Balushi and Rik Aby in prominent roles. Billed as a survival drama, the film is based on Benyamin's 2008 novel. It chronicles the journey of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer compelled into slavery on a remote farm in the deserts of Saudi Arabia.

Aadujeevitham's technical crew comprises Academy Award winning sound designer Resul Pookkutty, cinematographer Sunil KS and editor Sreekar Prasad. Produced by Visual Romance, the film is all set to hit the screens on March 28.
