The trailer of Indrans and Murali Gopy's Kanakarajyam was released by the makers on Friday. The trailer features the lead actors in an emotionally heavy narrative with feel-good elements aimed at attracting family audiences. It is scheduled to hit the screens on July 5. The film is written and directed by Sagar, who has previously helmed Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku (2022) and Veekam (2022).

As per the makers, Kanakarajyam is a family drama based on an incident that happened in Alappuzha a few years ago. The film also stars Sreejith Ravi, Dinesh Prabhakar, Kottayam Ramesh, Rajesh Sharma, Unni Raj, Achuthanandan, James Eliya, Harish Pengan, Remya Suresh, Saina Krishna, Sreevidya Mullassery, and Athira Patel, among others. It has cinematography by Abhilash Shankar, editing by Ajeesh, and music by Arun Muraleedharan.

Kanakarajyam is produced by Ajith Vinayaka under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films, which previously backed Arun Chandu's Gaganachari, which was released on June 21.
