Earlier, we had reported that the title of Antony Varghese aka Pepe's next actioner is Daveed. On Monday, the film got launched in a ceremony featuring the cast and crew. The upcoming film is directed by debutant Govind Vishnu, who has also co-wrote it with Deepu Rajeevan, another newcomer.

Apart from Antony, Daveed also features Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, Kichu Tellus, Jess Kukku and Mohammad Karakki in prominent roles. As per the makers, it also stars a bunch of martial artists. The film has cinematography by Salu K Thomas, editing by Rakesh Cherumadam, sound design by Renganaath Ravee and music direction by Justin Varghese. The action choreography will be handled by PC Stunts.

Daveed is jointly produced by Century Max John Mary Productions LLP, Panorama Studios, Aby Alex Abraham and Tom Joseph.

Meanwhile, Antony has another upcoming film with his RDX producers, Weekend Blockbusters. The untitled film, described as an action-packed revenge drama, is directed by debutant Ajit Mampally. Raj B Shetty, Shabeer Prathibha, Gauthami Nair and many others feature in the film, which is eyeing an Onam 2024 release.
