Samantha, who was last seen in Kushi (2023), is widely speculated to make her Malayalam debut soon.

Rumour mills suggest that Samantha will enter Mollywood starring opposite Mammootty under his banner, Mammootty Kampany. The film will reportedly be helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

However, none of the parties involved in the speculation have made an official announcement yet, nor have they dismissed the claims.

Samantha will be appearing next in Citadel - Honey Bunny, the Indian installment of the Prime Original espionage-themed series Citadel. Citadel - Honey Bunny, also starring Varun Dhawan, will see her reunite with her The Family Man showrunners, Raj and DK. Samantha is also rumoured to star next in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film with Atlee. 

She has also turned producer with her next project, Maa Inti Bangaram, under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures.

Meanwhile, Mammootty was last seen in Turbo, directed by Vysakh.
