The makers of the Malayalam film Thalavan released the song, Kanunnathum Kelkkunnathum on Wednesday. Composed by Deepak Dev with lyrics penned by Jis Joy, the song has been sung by Biju Menon.

Thalavan narrates the ego clash between two Police officers of different ranks, played by Asif Ali and Biju Menon. The film also stars an ensemble cast including Dileesh Pothen, Anushree, Miya, Kottayam Nazeer, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Joji K John, Dinesh, Anuroop, Nandan Unni and Bilas, among others.

Directed by Jis Joy, Thalavan hit the theatres on May 24. Following its release, the film met with highly positive reviews. The CE review of the film read," Thalavan is an engaging whodunit amid few missteps. The film is a largely welcome departure from Jis Joy's mushy repertoire and his most visually impressive film yet".
