Director Vysakh, who recently made a strong comeback with Turbo, has confirmed that he is collaborating with Mohanlal for an action film. In a recent interview, the director revealed the same while addressing the backlash he received for Monster (2022), his last film with Mohanlal.

Vysakh said he was forced to do Monster due to his financial crisis during the lockdown period. He also added that the film was originally made for OTTs but had to be released in theatres for some unavoidable reasons. Accepting all the criticisms, the director added that he will be compensating it with his next film with Mohanlal. According to him, it will be a big-scale action film, the script for which has already been finalised. Mohanlal's Aashirvad Cinemas is backing the project.

Meanwhile, Vysakh's Turbo, starring Mammootty, has entered its second week of theatrical run. As per the makers, the film crossed the Rs 50 crore-mark from its first five days of global collections alone. Scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas, it is an actioner also starring Raj B Shetty, Anjana Jayaprakash, and Bindu Panicker in key roles.
