We had earlier reported about Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, and Chemban Vinod Jose coming together for Praavinkoodu Shappu, directed by debutant Sreeraj Sreenivasan. The makers recently called it a schedule wrap after a shoot of 91 long days. Filmmaker Anwar Rasheed is producing the film, his next after the blockbuster success of Aavesham.

Praavinkoodu Shappu also stars Chandini Sreedharan, Sivajith Padmanabhan, Shabreesh Verma, Niyas Bakker, Revathi, Vijo Amaravathi, Ramkumar, Sandeep, and Pratapan KS. It has cinematography by Shyju Khalid, music by Vishnu Vijay, lyrics by Muhsin Parari and editing by Shafeeq Muhammad Ali.

As per reports, the makers are planning to release the film in December this year during the Christmas season.
