Arjun Ashokan and Sangeeth Prathap injured in car accident during Bromance shoot

Five persons, including actors Arjun Ashokan and Premalu-fame Sangeeth Prathap, got injured in a car accident that occurred during the wee hours of Saturday in Kochi. The incident occurred at around 1.45 am while the actors were shooting a chase scene for the upcoming film Bromance.

CCTV visuals showed the car moving at a high speed before getting out of control and toppling. It was reported that the car was driven by a stunt man. A food delivery boy, whose bike was parked on the roadside, was also injured in the accident. The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital and are now stable. Ernakulam Central police have registered a case for rash driving.

Bromance is directed by Arun D Jose, who earlier made Jo and Jo and 18+ Journey of Love. The film also stars Mathew Thomas, Mahima Nambiar, Shyam Mohan, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Binu Pappu in key roles. It is jointly scripted by director Arun, Raveesh Nath, and Thomas P Sebastian. The film is produced by Ashiq Usman and distributed by Central Pictures.
