The first look of Saiju Kurup's maiden production venture, Bharathanatyam, will be out on July 26 at 7 pm through actor Dulquer Salmaan's social media handle, announced the makers on Thursday. The upcoming film features Saiju in the lead along with veteran actor Saikumar. It is written and directed by debutant Krishnadas Murali.

Earlier, speaking to CE about the film, the director said that Bharathanatyam is a light-hearted entertainer, set in a rural world. It focuses on a Nair mansion and its family, who take great pride in their heritage and are excessively conscious of it. Bharathanatyam also also has Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Thallumala-fame Swathi Das Prabhu and Nandu Poduval as part of its cast.

The film is produced by Thomas Thiruvalla Films in association with Saiju Kurup Entertainments. It has Bablu Aju wielding the camera, Samuel Aby composing the music and Shadeeque V B handling the cuts.

Meanwhile, Saiju will be next seen in Porattu Naadakam, slated to hit screens on August 9. The actor also has Anand Sreebala, Abhilasham, and Written and Directed by God lined up. Additionally, he is making his digital debut with Sony LIV's upcoming web series Jai Mahendran.
