On Sunday, the makers of Tovino Thomas' upcoming film revealed its title as Narivetta at an event held in Kochi. Directed by Ishq-fame Anuraj Manohar and scripted by Sahitya Akademi award-winning writer Abin Joseph, it also features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Tamil actor Cheran, Arya Salim, Priyamvadha Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar in pivotal roles.

Narivetta is produced by Tippu Shah and Shiyas Hassan under the banner of Indian Film Company. On the technical front, the film has Jakes Bejoy composing the music, Shameer Muhammed on the editing table, and Iratta cinematographer Vijay wielding the camera. The title was unveiled through a poster suggesting that it revolves around a riot in a village.

Anuraj had previously announced his sophomore film as Shekara Varma Rajavu, headlined by Nivin Pauly. Despite the announcement in 2021, the current status of the project remains unknown.

Meanwhile, Tovino has a slew of projects lined up. The actor recently wrapped up the shoot of Akhil Paul and Anas Khan's Identity, co-starring Trisha Krishnan and Vinay Rai. 3D action adventure ARM: Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Prithviraj Sukumaran's Empuraan, debutant Shilpa Alexander's Avaran, and Saiju Sreedharan's Munpe are also part of his upcoming slate. Additionally, he is producing the upcoming Basil Joseph-starrer Marana Mass.
