In a recent interview with CE, Gaganachari writer Siva Sai said that he would next pen the screenplay for "a satirical sports comedy, more like a tribute to our generation's fascination with WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment)." Now, Siva has confirmed through an Instagram story that he is working on the project with debutant writer Aswin Vinod and that it would mark the directorial debut of Vignesh J Kishin. The makers are yet to reveal further details about the plot, cast, and crew for the film.

Siva Sai made his debut as a screenwriter with the recent release Gaganachari, a sci-fi mockumentary co-written and directed by Arun Chandu and starring Anarkali Marikar, Aju Varghese, Gokul Suresh, and Ganesh Kumar, among others. Siva is also credited as a co-writer for upcoming the Gaganachari spinoff Mainyan Chittapan, starring Suresh Gopi in the titular role as well as co-written and directed by Arun himself.
