Earlier, we had reported that Tamil actors Saranya Ponvannan and Sandy have joined the cast of Dileep's upcoming film Bha Bha Ba. As per the announcement made by the makers on Sunday, the latest addition to star in the film will be actor-director Sidharth Bharathan. While he will be acting alongside Dileep for the first time, Sidharth has previously directed the latter in the 2017 film Chandrettan Evideya.

Billed as a mass entertainer, Bha Bha Ba will be directed by debutant Dhananjay Shankar. The film also stars Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan in prominent roles. It is scripted by actors Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef. While it marks Noorin's debut as a writer, Fahim had earlier co-written the screenplay of the Joju George-starrer Madhuram (2021). Bha Bha Ba is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies.

Sidharth was last seen in Rahul Sadasivan's Bramayugam, alongside Mammootty, in a pivotal portrayal. While he hopes to direct a film this year, as mentioned by the actor-director to CE in an exclusive conversation, his upcoming slate as an actor includes Mammootty's upcoming film Bazooka and Paranu Paranu Paranu Chellan.
