Earlier, we had reported that Marana Mass, headlined by Basil Joseph and co-produced by actor Tovino Thomas, was launched. On Thursday, the makers shared the video of the film's switch-on ceremony that happened at the Anchumana Devi Temple in Kochi on social media. The guests for the event, apart from the cast and crew, included Tovino's family.

Debutant Sivaprasad is directing Marana Mass, which he has co-written with Romancham-fame actor Siju Sunny. Apart from Basil, the upcoming film also features Siju, Rajesh Madhavan, Suresh Krishna and Babu Antony in prominent roles. The film has cinematography by Neeraj Ravi, editing by Chaman Chacko, known for his work in RDX (2023), and music by Thrishanku-fame Jay Unnithan. Marana Mass is produced by Tovino and Tingston Thomas through Tovino Thomas Productions in association with Thanzeer Salam via World Wide Films.

Basil also has Jeethu Joseph's Nunakuzhi, Jithin Laal's Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM), headlined by Tovino, Sreeraj Sreenivasan's Praavinkoodu Shappu and production designer Jothish Shankar's directorial debut coming up.
