Basil Joseph's Marana Mass, produced by Tovino Thomas, launched

The film is jointly scripted by director Sivaprasad and Romancham-fame actor Siju Sunny

Earlier, we had reported that actor Tovino Thomas will be producing Marana Mass, headlined by Basil Joseph and directed by debutant Sivaprasad. On Wednesday, the film was launched with a pooja ceremony in Kochi featuring the cast and crew. It is jointly scripted by Sivaprasad and Romancham-fame actor Siju Sunny, who is also acting in a key role in the upcoming film.

Marana Mass also stars Rajesh Madhavan and Suresh Krishna in prominent roles. Bankrolled by Tovino and Tingston Thomas through Tovino Thomas Productions in association with Thanzeer Salam for World Wide Films, the film's technical crew includes music director Jay Unnithan, cinematographer Neeraj Revi and editor RDX-fame Chaman Chacko.

Last seen in Vipin Das' Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil, Basil's upcoming slate includes Jeethu Joseph's Nunakuzhi, Jithin Laal's Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM), headlined by Tovino, Sreeraj Sreenivasan's Praavinkoodu Shappu and production designer Jothish Shankar's directorial debut.

Meanwhile, apart from the 3D action adventure ARM, Tovino has Akhil Paul and Anas Khan's Identity and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Empuraan, the much-awaited sequel to Lucifer (2019), lined up as an actor.
