Director Priyadarshan officially launched the first-look poster of singer Hariharan’s acting debut Daya Bharati at the location of the Ram Mandir documentary he is directing. The poster features actors Hariharan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Kailash, Appani Sarath, Neha Saxena, and Niya. Among the attendees of the poster launch function were the film’s director KG Vijayakumar and marketing executive Siby Padiyara, as well as well-known producer G.P. Vijayakumar (aka “Seven Arts” Vijayakumar).

Asokan Charangattu and GV Vijayakumar are producing Daya Bharati under the banner of Thamburan International Film and Events. According to reports, the film deals with a society-relevant subject that points fingers at the exploitation of tribals. This explains why the filming locations include Attappadi, Athirappilly, and Anakkayam, and its additional cast features around a hundred tribal artists, including National Award winner Nanjiamma. Daya Bharati is expected to hit theatres this March.
