Kerala Crime Files Season 2 announced

The makers of Kerala Crime Files have announced a sequel to the web series, which revolves around a police procedural after a murderer is out on the loose. Director Ahammed Khabeer shared the news on Instagram, alongside a first-look poster of Kerala Crime Files Season 2. The poster features a cop with the image of a stadium in place of his cap.

Kerala Crime Files Season 2 marks the production debut of Ahammed's latest venture, Monkey Business. It is written by Bahul Ramesh and edited by Mahesh Bhuvanend, with music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and art direction by Satheesh Nellaya. Bahul handled the cinematography for films like Mandharam, Mohan Kumar Fans, and Innale Vare, and he is also writing the script for  Asif Ali's upcoming film Kishkkindha Kandam.

The first season of Kerala Crime Files gained critical acclaim and audience appreciation, with its depiction of an investigation into a murder at a lodge in Cochin. It stars Aju Varghese as the lead investigator in his web series debut, alongside relative newcomers like Navas Vallikkunnu, Zhinz Shan, Sanju Sanichen, and Rooth P John. The second season of Kerala Crime Files will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar soon. Details about the rest of the cast has not been announced yet.
