The makers of Marivillin Gopurangal released a musical trailer this evening. The film written by Girish Puthenchery, has music by Vidyasagar. The title Marivillin Gopurangal is a throwback to a song of the same name from the 1998 blockbuster Summer in Bethlehem, starring Jayaram, Suresh Gopi, and Manju Warrier. The trailer also has a reprised version of that song.

The film stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Shruti Ramachandran, Sarjano Khalid, and Vincy Aloshious in the lead roles. It is a feel-good film co-directed by Arun Bose, best known for the Malayalam film Luca, starring Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna, and Lalitham Sundaram-fame Pramod Mohan. Pramod also wrote the script.

The film, produced by Koker's Media Entertainments, is set for a February 16 release. You can watch its trailer here:
