The upcoming Malayalam film Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, has completed the censorship formalities with a U certificate. The makers announced the same on their social media handles. The film will hit the theatres on February 9

Directed by Thanneer Mathan Dinangal- fame director Girish A D, the upcoming film is bankrolled by Bhavana Studios as their fifth production. Premalu marks Girish's third directorial and his third and second collaboration with Naslen and Mamitha, respectively. It is to be noted that Naslen and Mamitha had earlier seen together in Girish's sophomore directorial, Super Sharanya. 

Premalu also stars Althaf Salim, Shyam Mohan M, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, Sangeeth Prathap, and Shameer Khan, among others.

Billed to be a romantic- comedy, Premalu has a script that Gireesh co-wrote along with Kiran Josey. The film's technical team comprises Ajmal Sabu as the cinematographer, Akash Joseph Varghese as the editor and Vishnu Vijay as the music composer.
