Suraj Venjaramoodu replaces Soubin in Nahas Nazer's debut

The film stars Asif Ali in the lead role

Earlier, we had reported that actors Soubin Shahir and Asif Ali would seen together in an upcoming Malayalam film directed by debutant filmmaker Nahas Nazer. It has now been learned that Suraj Venjaramoodu has replaced Soubin. Additionally, the makers also announced that the film will go on floors on February 12. 

It is to be noted that Nahas Nazar has earlier assisted in films like Unda, Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha, and Thallumaala. The yet-to-be-titled film will be bankrolled by Ashiq Usman under the production banner Ashiq Usman Productions. 

Also starring Shine Tom Chacko, Ganapathi, Althaf Salim and Bheeshma Parvam- fame Anagha, the upcoming film is scripted by Aji Peter Thankam, who debuted with the Asif Ali-starrer Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha. On the technical front, the makers have roped in Jimshi Khalid as the cinematographer and, Gopi Sundar as the composer and Nishad Yusuf as the editor. 

Asif Ali, last seen in A Ranjith Cinema, also has Kishkintha Kaandam, Tiki Taka, and Thalavan, co-starring Biju Menon, in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Suraj Venjaramoodu, who was last seen in Madanolsavam, has a slew of films in the various stages of production, including Grrrr.., Vaakku, and Professor Dinkan, among others.
