Antony Varghese-starrer Daveed will hit screens in February, announced the makers on Tuesday. Announcing the project on social media, the makers wrote, "Get ready for a cinematic storm that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Theatres are gearing up to welcome the electrifying Daveed experience—mark your calendars and prepare for the action, drama, and thrill like never before." John and Mary Creative, Century Films, Maxlab and Panorama Studios are jointly backing the film.

Directed by Govind Vishnu, Daveed is a boxing-based actioner. The debutant has also co-written the film with Deepu Rajeevan, also a newcomer. The film's cast includes Vijayaraghavan, Lijomol Jose, Saiju Kurup, Kichu Tellus, Jess Kukku and Mohammad Karakki, alongside a set of martial artists. It has cinematography by Salu K Thomas, editing by Rakesh Cherumadam, music composed by Justin Varghese and action choreography by PC Stunts.

Antony was last seen in Kondal, directed by debutant Ajit Mampally. The actor is also reportedly set to reunite with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath for a film headlined by Dulquer Salmaan. A sequel to Antony's hit Ajagajantharam is also in the works.
