Asif Ali reveals that his next is a film for the kids

The actor was talking about his ongoing film with director Thamar KV

Asif Ali is currently shooting for his new film with Thamar KV of 1001 Nunakal fame. In a recent interview, the actor shared that it's a film for the kids, shot completely in UAE. Notably, Thamar's debut film was also set in the Gulf and explored the lives of a bunch of Malayali expats. Earlier, while talking to us, the director said his film with Asif is a "feel-good drama with a survival aspect in the storyline."

The upcoming film has Divya Prabha as the female lead, with Deepak Parambol in another prominent role. Aeyaz is handling the cinematography and the music is by Govind Vasantha. It is produced by Ajith Vinayaka Films.

Asif Ali next has Rekhachithram lined up for release on January 9. Directed by The Priest-fame, it is a thriller featuring Asif as a cop. Meanwhile, Asif is gearing up to reunite with his Kooman director, Jeethu Joseph. Also starring Aparna Balamurali, the film is planned to go on floors in January 2025.

After that, Asif is expected to resume the shoot of Rohit VS' Tiki Taka, which had to be halted after he got injured while filming an action sequence. The actor has also completed work on Abhyanthara Kuttavali, directed by debutant Sethunath Padmakumar.
