Mathew Thomas is set to headline a horror comedy titled Night Riders. Noufal Abdullah, who has edited films like Sudani From Nigeria, Anuraga Karikkin Vellam and The Great Father, makes his directorial debut with it. The film was announced with a teaser, which hints at fantasy elements and a period setting. Produced by Nisar Babu and Sajin Ali, the film has been planned as a multilingual release.

Night Riders is scripted by Jyothish M and Sunu A V, who both penned last year's hit film Pranaya Vilasam. The upcoming film has Vaazha-fame Meenakshi Unnikrishnan as the female lead. Abu Salim, Sarath Sabha, Roshan Shanavas, Rony David Raj, Zinil Zainudeen, Noushad Ali, and Merin Philip also star in it.

Night Riders has cinematography by Abhilash Shankar, music by Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha S Nair, and edits handled by director Noufal himself.

Mathew Thomas' upcoming slate includes Jo and Jo-fame Arun D Jose's Bromance and Dileesh Karunakaran's 3D film Lovely.
