Earlier, we reported that actor Shane Nigam’s 25th film, an intense action thriller written and directed by debutant Unni Sivalingam, will be a Malayalam-Tamil bilingual centred on four kabaddi players. The latest update is that the pooja and its official launch are scheduled for December 9. Produced by Santhosh T Kuruvilla and Binu Alexander George, the film is expected to be an action-packed mass entertainer. It will be shot predominantly in Palakkad and Coimbatore. In addition to Shane, the film stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Preethi Asrani in pivotal roles.

Shane was last seen in Little Hearts, directed by Aby Treesa Paul and Anto Jose Pereira. The actor is awaiting the release of his Tamil debut Madraskaaran with director Vaali Mohan Das. He is also part of the upcoming romantic entertainer Haal, directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar.

Meanwhile, Santhosh, known for producing acclaimed films like Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016) and Nna Thaan Case Kodu (2022), is also backing actor Rajesh Madhavan’s directorial debut Pennum Porattum.
