Tovino Thomas' Narivetta has completed the shoot of its first schedule, announced the film's director Anuraj Manohar through social media. Reportedly based on real incidents, the upcoming film marks the scripting debut of former journalist and Sahitya Akademi award-winning writer Abin Joseph. Sharing his "excitement and happiness", Anuraj stated, "A great effort from all the departments made this schedule smooth and fun, hoping to continue this in the coming schedule too."

Narivetta, marking the Malayalam debut of Tamil actor-director Cheran, also features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Arya Salim, Thottappan-fame Priyamvadha Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar in prominent roles. The film's technical crew includes composer Jakes Bejoy, editor Shameer Muhammed, and Iratta cinematographer Vijay. It is backed by Tippu Shah and Shiyas Hassan under the banner of Indian Film Company.

Anuraj is known for making his directorial debut with the 2017 Shane Nigam-Shine Tom Chacko starrer Ishq. He had previously announced his sophomore film as Shekara Varma Rajavu, headlined by Nivin Pauly. Despite the announcement in 2021, the current status of the project remains unknown.

It includes Akhil Paul and Anas Khan's Identity, co-starring Trisha Krishnan and Vinay Rai, Jithin Laal's 3D action adventure ARM: Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Prithviraj Sukumaran's Empuraan, debutant Shilpa Alexander's Avaran, and Saiju Sreedharan's Munpe. Additionally, the actor is also producing the upcoming Basil Joseph-starrer Marana Mass.
