The trailer for Jeethu Joseph's Nunakuzhi, featuring Basil Joseph and Grace Antony in the lead, will be released on August 7, the makers announced on Tuesday. The upcoming film is scripted by KR Krishna Kumar, who had penned two of Jeethu's earlier films, 12th Man (2022) and Kooman (2022).

Nunakuzhi, according to the makers, is a comedy of errors following the story of a young man caught in a web of lies and mistaken identities. As revealed in an earlier released teaser for the film, Basil Joseph portrays Eby Zacharia, a wealthy businessman whose company becomes the target of a raid by IT officials.

Nunakuzhi also stars Manoj K Jayan, Swasika, Siddique, Baiju Santhosh, Saiju Kurup, and Aju Varghese in prominent roles. On the technical front, the director has retained his frequent collaborators including editor Vinayak VS and cinematographer Satheesh Kurup. The songs are composed by Thrishanku-fame Jay Unnithan and Vishnu Shyam, with the latter, known for his work in Jeethu's 2023 film Neru, credited for its background score. Nunakuzhi, produced by Yoodlee Films and Bedtime Stories, is set to release on August 15, 2024.
