The second-look poster for Saiju Kurup's maiden production venture Bharathanatyam was unveiled on Tuesday. The new poster features its lead actors Saiju and Saikumar along with Divya M Nair, Kalaranjini, Swathi Das Prabhu, Sruthy Suresh and Nandu Poduval. Scheduled to release on August 23, it marks the directorial debut of Krishnadas Murali, who has also penned the script.

Bharathanatyam has cinematography by Bablu Aju, music by Samuel Aby, and editing by Shadeeque VB. Earlier, speaking to CE about the upcoming film, the director said that it is a light-hearted entertainer set in a rural world. It focuses on a Nair mansion and its family, who take great pride in their heritage and are excessively conscious of it. 

Meanwhile, Saiju's Porattu Naadakam, previously slated to hit screens on August 9, had postponed its release in the wake of the Wayanad landslides and torrential rains in Kerala. The actor also has Anand Sreebala, Abhilasham, and Written and Directed by God lined up. Additionally, he is making his digital debut with Sony LIV's upcoming web series Jai Mahendran.
