Earlier, we reported that Asif Ali is all set to headline a realistic comedy entertainer titled Abhyanthara Kuttavali. The upcoming film, written and directed by debutant Sethunath Padmakumar, commenced shooting in Triprayar following a minimal pooja ceremony in the aftermath of the Wayanad tragedy, announced the makers on Monday. Thulasi, a newcomer, will be playing the female lead opposite Asif.
Abhyanthara Kuttavali also stars Jagadeesh, Harisree Ashokan, Prem Kumar, Sidharth Bharathan, Azeez Nedumangad, Vijayakumar, Balachandran Chullikkad, Anand Manmadhan, Prem Nath, Shreya Rukmini, Aavesham-fame Neeraja Rajendran, Rini Udayakumar and Sreeja Das in prominent roles. Produced by Naisam Salam, the film has cinematographer Ajay David Kachappilly, editor Sobin K Soman and music director Bijibal as part of its technical crew.
Last seen in Arfaz Ayub's Level Cross, Asif has Nahas Nazar's Adios Amigo awaiting release. The film, earlier scheduled to hit theatres on August 2, is now uncertain when it will grace the screens following the recent torrential rains in Kerala and the Wayanad landslides that claimed over 350 lives. The actor recently wrapped up the shoot for The Priest director Jofin T Chacko's yet-to-be-titled sophomore outing. Additionally, Rohith VS' Tiki Taka, Dinjith Ayyathan's Kishkindha Kandam, an untitled film with 1001 Nunakal-fame Thamar KV and Jis Joy's sequel to Thalavan are also part of the Asif's upcoming slate.
