Wayanad Landslides: Soubin Shahir and co-producers of Manjummel Boys donate to CMDRF

In an official statement, the production banner Parava Films expressed deep concern for the people of Wayanad affected by the disaster

Actor Soubin Shahir and the other co-producers of this year's Malayalam film Manjummel Boys, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony, have donated Rs 20 lakh to Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) to aid rehabilitation efforts following the devastating Wayanad landslides, which have claimed more than 350 lives.

In an official statement addressed to the Chief Minister of Kerala, the production banner Parava Films expressed deep concern for the people of Wayanad affected by the disaster. "The collective efforts of the government, volunteers, rescue teams, and organizations providing support have been truly remarkable," the statement read. They further added, "Our thoughts and well wishes are with the people of Kerala during this difficult time. May our collective efforts bring relief, hope, and resilience."

Previously, it was reported that numerous prominent film personalities, including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Vikram, Suriya, Jyotika, Karthi, Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, and Rashmika Mandanna, have made substantial contributions to the CMDRF.
