Earlier, we reported that KGF-fame Ravi Basrur is onboard to compose music for the upcoming Unni Mukundan-starrer Marco. On Sunday, the makers announced that the film will be launched on May 3. Directed by Haneef Adeni, it is the spin-off of his 2018 actioner, Mikhael. Unni will be reprising his role as Marco, a cold-blooded gangster, in the upcoming film.

Alongside announcing the launch date on social media, Unni wrote, "Get ready for an adrenaline-packed ride." He also added, "Experience the pulse-pounding action, accompanied by sensational soundtracks by Ravi Basrur."

Marco, which the makers claim to be the most violent film ever made in Malayalam, is being produced by Shareef Muhammed Abdul Gadhaf under the banner of Cubes Entertainments in association with the lead actor's home production Unni Mukundan Films. The makers are yet to reveal the details on the rest of the cast and technical crew members.

Meanwhile, Unni will be seen next in Get-Set Baby, directed by Vinay Govind, opposite Nikhila Vimal. His upcoming lineup also includes the long-delayed Arun Bose directorial Mindiyum Paranjum, the fantasy entertainer Gandharva Jr, and the Tamil film Garudan.
