Identity team wraps up Erode schedule

CE Features

The makers of Identity, the upcoming Tovino Thomas-Trisha starrer, wrapped up a schedule in Erode on Saturday. Akhil Paul, one of the film's directors, mentioned in a social media post that they "filmed some core sequences involving fire, dust and vehicles over a beautiful dry landscape." He also added that "shooting continuously under the blazing sun of Erode at 42 degree celsius was indeed an adventurous schedule." After having shot for 99 days, the team is now heading to the final leg of shooting.

Identity is directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan, who both made Forensic (2020), also starring Tovino. Planned as an action-heavy project, it also stars Vinay Rai, Mandira Bedi Shammy Thilakan, Aju Varghese, Arjun Radhakrishnan and Archana Kavi. In an earlier chat with us, Akhil Paul had shared about their plans to turn it into a two-part project. Century Films and Ragam Movies, are backing the film, which has 2018-fame Akhil George as the cinematographer and Chaman Chakko handling the edits.
