Dhyan Sreenivasan's Cop Uncle gets a release date

Dhyan Sreenivasan's new film Cop Uncle will hit screens on May 24, announced the makers. The actor is also scripting the film, which is directed by Vinay Jose. According to the makers, the film is a "nonsensical comedy entertainer". It also stars Shritha Sivadas, Minnal Murali-fame Vasisht Umesh, Johny Antony, Saiju Kurup, Jaffer Idukki, and Aju Varghese.

Cop Uncle has cinematography by Rojo Thomas, music by Sankar Sarma, and background score by Marc D Muse. It is produced by Good Angle Films in association with Kria Film Corp and Nextel Studios.

Dhyan Sreenivasan's next release is Malayalee From India, slated for May 1. The film directed by Dijo Jose Antony stars Nivin Pauly in the lead. Dhyan is also essaying a cameo role in the May 3-release Nadikar. Earlier this week, the actor's new film with Omar Lulu went on floors. Ideem Minnalum, Swargathile Katturumbu, Kudumbasreeyum Kunjadum and Ba Ba Ba are some of his other upcoming projects.
