Earlier this year, we reported that the makers of the Nivin Pauly starrer Malayalee From India released its first single, titled Krishna Song. Now, the makers have dropped another track from the film that is titled 'World Malayalee Anthem'. Akshay Unnikrishnan and Jakes Bejoy sung World Malayalee Anthem based on the lyrics by Sharis Mohammed and Suhail Koya, as well as a composition by Jakes Bejoy and Asal Kolaar.

The song video starts with a conversation between Nivin and his director Dijo Jose Antony, where the latter asks the former to promote the song. Soon, Nivin, seemingly referring to his Varshangalkku Shesham character, tells Dijo that his song needs no promotion as he is "the youth icon star" with "the biggest fanbase in South India." It acts as a quirky promo for and a hilarious way of setting up the rap song, with lyrics containing the names of many places in Kerala and beyond.

Dijo Jose Antony directed Malayalee From India based on a screenplay by Sharis Mohammed. The film also stars Anaswara Rajan, Manju Pillai, Shine Tom Chacko, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Vijayakumar, and Salim Kumar in key roles.

Listin Stephen's Magic Frames and Nivin's Pauly Jr Pictures are producing the film. On the technical front, it has cinematography by Sudeep Elamon, editing by Sreejith Sarang, and choreography by Jishnu.
