'Istigfar' song from Aadujeevitham out

'Istigfar', the song from Aadujeevitham was released by the makers on Monday. The song is penned and composed by Academy Award winner AR Rahman. The video of this poignant track, sung by Raja Hasan and Faiz Mustafa, features brief glimpses from the film interspersed with the live performance of the song from the audio launch event.

Blessy and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Aadujeevitham, which released on March 28, had surpassed Rs. 100 crores in just nine days of its release worldwide, as claimed by the makers.

Billed as a survival drama, the film is based on Benyamin's 2008 novel, which chronicles the arduous journey of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant labourer compelled into slavery on a remote goat farm in the deserts of Saudi Arabia. It also stars Amala Paul, Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean-Louis, K R Gokul, and Arab actors Talib al Balushi and Rik Aby in prominent roles.
