On Sunday, actor Sharaf U Dheen took to social media to announce his next film. Titled Pet Detective, the film will star him in the lead along with Anupama Pararmeswaran. It is directed by debutant Praneesh Vijayan, who earlier co-wrote Omar Lulu's Happy Wedding (2016). 

Pet Detective is co-written by the director and Jai Vishnu, who previously co-wrote Madhura Manohara Moham. The film produced by Sharaf has music by Premam-fame Rajesh Murugesan, cinematography by Anend C Chandran and editing by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. 

Meanwhile, Sharaf is awaiting the release of Hello Mummy, which also features Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead. Billed as a fantasy-comedy, the film directed by debutant filmmaker Vaishakh Elans and scripted by Falimy-fame Sanjo Joseph.
