The makers of Mammootty's upcoming film Turbo on Thursday announced that its background score works have begun. Christo Xavier who recently collaborated with Mammootty in Bramayugam is handling the score for Turbo as well. His other works include Madanolsavam and Journey of Love 18+.

Produced by Mammootty's home banner, Mammootty Kampany, it is directed by Vyaskh. It marks his third collaboration with Mammootty, after Pokkiri Raja and Madhura Raja.

Billed as an action comedy, Turbo is written by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The film's technical team includes cinematographer Vishnu Sarma and editor Shameer Muhammed. It will be distributed by Dulquer Salmaan's production house, Wayfarer Films.

Turbo also stars Pachuvinte Albhuthavilakkum-fame Anjana Jayaprakash, Kannada actor Raj B Shetty, and Telugu actor Sunil, among others.
