Chaaver trailer: Political thriller with a Tinu Pappachan signature

Kunchacko Boban, Arjun Ashokan and Antony Varghese star in it

The trailer of Tinu Pappachan's latest film, Chaaver hints at a political thriller set in Kannur. Kunchacko Boban is the tough-looking Ashokan, who seems to be into crimes sponsored by a certain political party. In one scene in the trailer, he is seen threatening to divulge all that he has done for the party if they don't find a substitute to surrender for him. Joy Mathew, who is scripting the film, also appears as a political leader. Arjun Ashokan, Manoj KU,  Sajin Gopu and Sangeetha also feature prominently in the trailer. Antony Varghese is also seen in an almost unrecognisable look as a Theyyam artist.

Here is the trailer

Tinu Pappachan, known for his stylised action-heavy films Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil and Ajagajantharam, promises more action and thrills this time. On the technical front, he has retained cinematographer Jinto George and composer Justin Varghese from his last film. Thallumaala-fame Nishad Yusuf handles the edits.

Chaaver, produced by Arun Narayan and Venu Kunnappilly, is eyeing release on September 28
