Weekend Blockbusters is producing the film

Anwar Rasheed is set to make his comeback as a director three years after the release of Trance. Weekend Blockbusters, on their 10th anniversary, made the announcement through social media. It marks their reunion with Anwar, with whom they had earlier collaborated to co-produce Bangalore Days. Details regarding the upcoming film's cast and crew are not yet out.

On Saturday, Weekend Blockbusters also announced three other projects. Their immediate next is an action-heavy revenge drama headlined by Antony Varghese and directed by debutant Ajit Mampally. The banner will also produce a film each with Jan E Man director Chidambaram and RDX-fame Nahas Hidhayath.

Meanwhile, Anwar Rasheed is co-producing Romancham director Jithu Madhavan's next. Speculated to be titled Aavesham, the film stars Fahadh Faasil and a bunch of newcomers. Anwar and Nazriya are jointly backing the film.
