The trailer of Asif Ali-starrer Kasargold is out. Also starring Sunny Wayne and Vinayakan in prominent roles, the film is an action-packed thriller, and the racy trailer hints at the same. The narrative seems to be set in the world of gold smuggling with Asif and Sunny playing carriers who are part of a huge nexus. Vinayakan essays the role of an ex-cop in the film. Others in the cast include Deepak Parambol, Druvan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Malavika Sreenath, Siddique, PP Kunhikrishnan, Sreeranjini Nair, Prashant Murali, Sagar Surya, and James Eliya.

Kasargold marks Asif's reunion with B.Tech director Mridul Nair. Mridul has also written the story, while he has collaborated with Malayankunju director Sajimon Prabhakar for penning the screenplay and dialogues. The film has songs composed by Vishnu Vijay and Niranj Suresh, while the former alone has handled the background score. Jebin Jacob is the cinematographer and edits are done by Manoj Kannoth.
