Empuraan, the highly-anticipated sequel to Lucifer, is finally getting ready to go on floors. As per reports, the team is planning a promo shoot next week, after which full-fledged filming will commence. It is reported that the first schedule will begin in Delhi by the first week of October and then shift to Ladakh. The film is planned to be shot across India and in foreign locations.

Empuraan sees the return of Prithviraj as director and Mohanlal as the lead actor. While details regarding the other cast members are yet to be revealed, the makers have retained almost the same technical team from Lucifer. It includes cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev, composer Deepak Dev and action choreographer Stunt Silva.

Empuraan's shooting was supposed to begin in August, but an unexpected injury to Prithviraj during the filming of Vilayath Buddha forced a change in plans
