On Friday, as actor Dileep celebrated his birthday, the makers of Thankamani shared his second look from the film. While the earlier released poster had him sporting an old man's look, he is seen much younger in the new picture.

Directed by Udal-fame Ratheesh Reghunandan, the film is based on the real-life incident of a brutal clash between cops and villagers in the Idukki village of Thankamani in 1986. It is alleged that the villagers were subject to severe police brutality, including sexual assault on several women.

If Dileep's two looks are anything to go, the narrative of Thankamani seems to be set in two different timelines. It has Pranitha Subhash and Neeta Pillai as the female leads. Manoj K Jayan, Sudev Nair, Malavika Menon, Ajmal Ameer, Shine Tom Chacko, Siddique, John Vijay, Sampath, Kottayam Ramesh, and Major Ravi are also part of the cast. 

Meanwhile, Dileep has the Arun Gopy directorial Bandra slated for release on November 10.
