Shane Nigam-Sunny Wayne film Vela gets a release date

Vela, the upcoming cop thriller starring Shane Nigam and Sunny Wayne, will hit screens on November 10, the makers announced on Friday. The film is directed by Syam Sasi and scripted by Sajas. It has Shane in the role of a constable, while Sunny plays an inspector. Actor-filmmaker Sidharth Bharathan is also essaying a crucial role of a senior police official.

In an earlier conversation with us, Sajas called Vela an "emotion-centric crime drama" inspired by actual events. The film is shot by Suresh Rajan and edited by Mahesh Bhuvanend. Its music is handled by Tamil composer Sam CS, whose last Malayalam outing was the blockbuster RDX.

S George is producing Vela under the banner of Cyn-Cyl Celluloid, and it will be presented by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films.
