Nivin Pauly is set to collaborate with Disney+ Hotstar for his web series debut, Pharma. The show is directed by PR Arun, who earlier made Finals. In an official statement, the makers mentioned that the series, which is inspired by several true stories, will be a potent mix of drama and depth.

A thrilled Nivin Pauly shared, "Really excited to be a part of Pharma and with the universe it creates. I think it's a story that must be told and shared." 

Along with Nivin, the series will also feature veteran Bollywood actor Rajit Kapur in a prominent role. He was last seen in Malayalam in the 1998-released film Agnisakshi, which won him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor. 

On his return to the Malayalam entertainment industry, Rajit said, "Excited to join Pharma, marking 25 years since my role in Agnisakshi. Eager to work with P R Arun and Kerala's talented team. Trusting the well-prepared producers and their thorough research."

Pharma is produced by Krishnan Sethukumar, who earlier backed films like Unda, Ivide, and James And Alice. The upcoming show's technical team includes cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam, music director Jakes Bejoy, and editor Sreejith Sarang.
