We know that actors Arjun Ashokan and Asif Ali have teamed up for an upcoming Malayalam film titled Otta, helmed by Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty. It has now been learned that the film will hit the theatres on October 27. The film also stars Indrajith in a prominent role. 

Otta marks Resul Pookutty's directorial debut. The film also stars an ensemble cast, including Sathyaraj, Adil Hussain, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Jayaprakash, Jayakrishnan, Baiju Pookutty, Rohini Molleti, Bhavana Ramana, Devi Nair, Mamata Mohandas, Divya Dutta and Jalaja.

Children Reunited LLP and Resul Pookutty Productions are jointly producing the film. Written by Kiron Prabhakar, Otta is inspired by the life of social worker S Hariharan.

The film's technical crew consist of cinematographer Arun Varma, editor Zian Sreekanth and music director M Jayachandran.
