Actor Tovino Thomas, who has been basking in the limelight ever since his film 2018 was sent as India's official selection to the Oscars 2024, met Bollywood star Akshay Kumar at the gym. The duo clicked a picture together Tovino posted it on his social media handles.

Sharing his joy and adoration after meeting the OMG 2 actor, he captioned the post, "I thought I knew the khel. Then I met the real Khiladi." 

Both the actors were reportedly in Hyderabad for the shoot of their respective film projects. Akshay Kumar is filming for Rohit Shetty's Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. 

The upcoming actioner is the third film in the Ajay Devgn-led Singham series, which started with 2011's Singham and was followed by Singham Returns (2014).

Akshay was last seen in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue which was released in theatres on October 6. It is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.

Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas, who was last seen in the survival drama film 2018, will be next seen in Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Anweshippin Kandethum and Adrishya Jalakangal. He is also preparing for L2: Empuraan, Prithviraj Sukumaran's sequel to Lucifer.
