Malayalam actor Vinod Thomas was found dead inside a parked car at a hotel near Pampady in Kottayam. He was 45 years old. 

According to reports, the actor reached the bar of the hotel around early morning of Saturday and was found dead inside the car in the evening. It is suspected that the cause of death might have been inhalation of the poisonous gas from the AC of the vehicle. 

Vinod Thomas, who is popular on the silver screen as well as the television screen, has acting credits including Ayyappanum Koshyum, June, Oru Murai Vanth Paathaaya, Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, and Happy Wedding, among others.

Following the autopsy, further details about the demise are to be expected.
