Malayalam actor Kalabbhavan Haneef passes away

Popular mimicry artist and Malayalam film actor Kalabbhavan Haneef passed away. He breathed his last in a private hospital in Kochi, where he was undergoing treatment for respiratory diseases. He was 61 years old. 

Haneef was born in Mattancherry and gained popularity through the Kalabhavan mimics troupe. In 1991, he began his career in films with Cheppukilikkana Changathy. Haneef was a well-known face to the television audience as well. His notable acting credits include Ee Parakkum Thalika,  Thenkasipattanam, Chotta Mumbai, Ustad Hotel, and Drishyam.

The actor is survived by his wife Wahida and children Sharukh and Sithara.
