The makers of Malaikottai Vaaliban released a glimpse of actor Mohanlal from the film on Sunday, marking the actor's birthday. The unveiled visual showcase Mohanlal fiercely pulling the Dadung rope amid a crowd. The film, which is one of the most ambitious projects in Mohanlal's career, is helmed by a well-known director Lijo Jose Pellissery. 

Here is the first glimpse 

Malaikottai Vaaliban marks Mohanlal's first collaboration with the director Lijo. As both personalities are phenomenal in their respective fields, the collaboration makes the film one of the most ambitious projects among the recent Malayalam films. In the film, Mohanlal will be playing the role of a wrestler from the pre-Independence era. 

Malaikottai Vaaliban also features Manikandan Achari, Danish Sait, Hareesh Peradi, and Sonalee Kulkarni, among others.
