Mridul Nair, who made his directorial debut with B Tech, has announced his next. Titled Masala Dosha Mysore Akka, the film is scripted by Mridul and Sajimon Prabhakar, the director of Malayankunju. The makers announced the project by releasing an intriguing first look featuring an animated figure of a woman. Details regarding its cast and crew are yet to be out.

Meanwhile, Mridul's sophomore feature Kasargold is gearing up for release. Also scripted by Mridul and Sajimon, it's a mass entertainer set against the backdrop of gold smuggling in Kerala. Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Vinayakan star in the film, which is jointly backed by Yoodlee Films and Mukhari Entertainment LLP.
